Never the Same

For some reason,
I keep seeing you
even though you've faded from
my sight.

I can't understand it.
Its like those moments we
used to talk about,
back when things were all the
same,
when you and I understood
what was going on,
and laughed because we both
got it.

But suddenly its just one,
and its almost like I can't find
my ballance.

I got used to not
seeing you,
I became accustomed to your
absence, and finaly
came to terms with the fact
that you were now
my enemy.

But then, in a moment,
you were standing behind me,
and it was almost like
none of it had happened.

Yet it had.
I could feel the cold smile
that spread across your
face, and I knew, that it wasn't
you.

You really were gone,
lost in the worlds moments
of gray, where it made you
easier to forget.
Easier, to
let go.
